Episcopal Worship
Not sure when to sit, stand, kneel? Relax, we’ve all been there.
Worship in the Episcopal tradition is liturgical, which means that in word and deed it has been passed down through the ages from the early Church to the present day. It is a shared service of the entire congregation, with everyone present an important member of the body of Christ.
We gather together, we pray the collect of the day, we hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, we give thanks and confess, and we celebrate the Holy Meal in remembrance of our savior. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are renewed and made one body, sent forth to live as His disciples in the world.
Still have questions? You can find some answers below.
Where can I park?
We have plenty of parking available. You can enter our parking lot on the Walthour Road side and exit on the Oemler Loop side. If the parking lot looks full, there is often more parking available past the Parish Hall, toward Oemler Loop, or even on the grass just off Oemler Loop.
Where do I go from there?
Our worship takes place in the large building that is closest to the point at the big curve on Walthour Road. You can see it in the picture below.
